Festival of
Lights
an original musical by Arthur Levine
December 10 - 25, 2011 at six synagogues in the DC metro area. Check the Current Season link on the left for specifics. This is an original musical written by Arthur Levine (writer/composer/lyricist of Called Up to Life); directed by Cyle Durkee. Festival of Lights is an hour-long, family-friendly musical spin on an American Hanukah. It is a holiday musical about two teens who inherit a downtown synagogue and are surprised by what is inside.

March 2 - 18, 2012. Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM, Sundays at 3:30 PM. At the Rosborough Theater, 409 Russell Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD at the Asbury Methodist Village. Neil Simon's Tony and Pulitzer-Prize winning play. Two teenage boys, their "special" aunt, and their emotionally detached grandmother trying to be a family during the Depression. Funny, heart-breaking, and touching. Director: Kevin Sockwell.
