Joy Gerst has done many shows with SSTG, she stars as Sarah McKendrie Bonham in "Quilters". Last winter she was Alice's Mother/March Hare/Humpty Dumpty in our production of "Alice in Wonderland". Recently she played Edith Zuckerman in "Charlotte's Web" for KAT, also at the Arts Barn. Joy has been performing in community theatre for a long time in PA, GA, TN, MD and DC. In the DC area she has been seen in productions with RMT, RLT, DTC, Foundry Players, Chevy Chase Players, Montgomery Playhouse, SSTG and KAT. Her favorite roles include Jennie Malone in "Chapter Two", Hodel and Frumah Sarah in "Fiddler on the Roof", Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Chelsea in "On Golden Pond", Mother Superior in "Nunsense", and Francesca in "Nine".
