Melissa Lewis joined SSTG in 2006 for the role of Jenny in "Quilters". She is grateful to her favorite performer (and husband) Tim who pushed her to audition and then volunteered to stay home with their two children Wesley, 2 years old, and Zachary, 3 months old.
Her children are her best credits... but Melissa is an accomplished actor and teacher. Her performance credits include Laurie in "Oklahoma!", Pam in "My Turn on Earth" and Ella in "Bells are Ringing".
Some of her favorite directing credits include "Meet Me in St. Louis", You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and Neil Simon's "Fools!".
Melissa is a theatre and speech teacher with a degree in Theatre Education from Brigham Young University. She taught junior high full-time in Utah before moving to Maryland where she teaches after-school drama programs.
