She had been to church on the previous Sunday. Her son Mark talked with her on Tuesday night. She went to breakfast on Wednesday morning at Sandy Spring Friends Home where she has been living for the past year. She was found later that day, in her recliner, with a crossword puzzle. It is a blessing that she was able to enjoy her family and her life until the end, when she slipped away peacefully.
MEMORIAL SERVICE
Services will be at The Heritage Christian Church on Saturday, September 9th, 2006 at 10:30 a.m.
LUNCHEON FOLLOWING SERVICE
Margaret's son Mark has reserved a room at Longwood Recreation Center in Olney from 12 noon until 3pm.
He will provide party platters, but has asked Karen Dugard to organize any SIDE DISHES/DESSERTS that theater group members want to contribute to the luncheon, preferably something that doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Please let her know by Friday, 9/1/2006, if you plan to bring a dish to share.
DONATIONS
Anyone wishing to make a donation in her memory can send a check to Heritage Christian Church for their building fund for the Fellowship Hall. Mark said that Margaret was very excited about this project.
MEMORIES/PHOTOS:
Mark will be putting together videos, photos, and letters to display at the luncheon, so that this gathering will be a celebration of her life. He asks that anyone who can’t make it, or who wants to share a memory or photo, please bring it or send it to him so that it can be included.
