About Merwin Goldsmith (Benjamin Franklin). Merwin Goldsmith has appeared on Broadway in Ain't Broadway Grand, Grand Hotel, Me & My Girl, Slab Boys, The 1940s Radio Hour, Dirty Linen, Rex, The Visit, Chemin de Fer, Trelawny of the 'Wells,' Minnie's Boys, and Leda had a Little Swan and off-Broadway in After-Play.  He has appeared in the New York productions of Beau Jest, La Boheme, Yours Anne, Chinchilla, Big Apple, Messenger, The Naked Hamlet, Rubbers & Yanks, Wanted (Variety Critics poll nominee), and The Gershwin Celebration at BAMM.  He has had film roles in Hurricane, Quiz Show, It Could Happen to You, Cadillac Man, Lily in Love, Lovesick, So Fine, Making Mr. Right, Boardwalk, Trading Places, and Hercules in New York.  He starred in the ABS series, "The Goodbye Girls," as well as "The Kennedys" mini-series, "Love, Sidney," "Sessions," "Law & Order," and "The Equalizer."  Mr. Goldsmith trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and the Liverpool Playhouse.

About Alexander "Sandy" Marshall (Writer/Director).  Sandy Marshall has been nominated for 6 Emmy Awards and won for his nationally syndicated TV Series "Madhouse Brigade" and "Sons of the Desert."  He has also been nominated for a series of Golden Eagle CINE Awards, winning for his documentary on the Scottish Games.  Other films that he has written and directed have included, "Linderman's Luck" and "Alligator Shapiro."  He wrote and directed Crazy Arnold off-Broadway and recently directed The Zoo Story off-off-Broadway.  As a writer & producer, Sandy has created advertising for a variety of clients including New York Telephone and Business Week Magazine.  He also created, wrote, and produced a television series, Self Portraits, which were biographies of Edgar Allan Poe, John Barrymore, and Groucho Marx.  He has written screen adaptations of The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree and Bright Freedom's Song.  His play about John Lennon is being prepared for production in New York.
